Once a month my friends and I meet up at Knitters and Knatters. We get to catch up in a beautiful calm and soothing environment. Drink tea, eat cake and talk about our lives. But most importantly discovering skills we forgot to ask our Mothers to show us or we forgot that we could already do!

The Nest supports the importance of building networks and friendships within our community and at the same time enhancing personal well being by learning new sustainable craft skills that won't be costly. Being part of an initiative like The Nest promotes a positive self image for the individual and the greater community. To that end our group sessions are not structured like our classes, but are an informal inspiration incubator within a mentoring environment.

When you book into a workshop or social group at The Nest you are not just purchasing a creative experience for yourself but you are also contributing significantly towards making The Nest activities accessible to those less fortunate. As a not-for-profit organisation, the money we make goes directly back into our community programs.

As we cater for morning or afternoon tea in all our sessions, bookings are essential. Click on the sessions that you are interested in and follow the PayPal booking and payment system. If you have trouble booking in online contact The Nest here.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
