Chevron Quilt Workshop

This two-day Chevron Quilt Workshop is perfect for those who are knew to quilting. Rated as an easy skill level, this is also great for those that have some patchwork experience already. Participants will make a lap sized quilt (120cm x 150cm) using easy triangle blocks.

The top is constructed using only squares, removing the need to sew any bias edges or cut any fiddly triangles. The blocks are then arranged in a chevron pattern, or you may improvise your own design. Easy machine quilting is done with a walking foot and the quilt is finished with machine applied binding.

Skills covered include using a rotary cutter accurately, sewing a ¼ inch seam, pressing and general quilt construction. A requirements list will be provided at the time of booking. For further information please call Lynne on 0419 229 543.
