Mexican Embroidery Workshop

Learn how to embellish clothing or household items with colourful Mexican style embroidery. In this workshop you will embroider a cotton tea towel with your choice of traditional Otomi patterns and stitches or a bright floral arrangement seen on traditional clothing. Learn how to transfer patterns on to your fabric and choose stitches to complete your design.

What's provided
- Tea towels
- Embroidery threads

What to bring
- embroidery hoop (these may be available to purchase from the haberdashery shop on the day depending on stock)
- Scissors
- Basic sewing supplies (needles, thimble etc)
