This school holiday workshop focuses on the topic of electronic waste otherwise known as e-waste. Landfills are dumped with electrical and computer hazardous waste every day and contain harmful chemicals that leach into the earth and pollute the soil and water.
We can put e-waste to alternate uses and provide experiential, hands on and creative learning, by exploring the electrical wonders within computers and electrical gadgets and making them into something new.
Join this innovative eco-art workshop of discovery and exploration by dismantling old electrical items and computer parts, to creatively re-purpose them into unique art and sculptures.
Suitable for children between 6 and 15 years of age, however children under 10 years of age are to be accompanied by an adult.
